Art
In art we drew pictures of our Solar System. We blended oil pastels to create the planets and the sun and splattered white paint on the background to create the stars.
Car wash
The Great Lakes Outreach is a charity to raise money for people in Burundi. Simon Guillebaud came and asked us to raise money for a school in Burundi so our school council organised a car wash. We washed many cars and got very wet!
PE
In PE we are preparing to lead the mini Olympics with Year 3 and 4 next week. In our junior active leaders groups we will lead one athletics event for the class to compete in. The events are sprinting, middle distance run, shot put, javelin, long jump, triple jump and hurdles.
