Harvest Festival

To celebrate Harvest Festival we visited the church for a service for the first time since the pandemic started. Each class performed and we sang a few hymns. We donated lots of food  that has gone to a food bank to help those who are less fortunate than us. 

Football with Amanda

On Thursday we enjoyed an hour of fun football games with Amanda from active leaders.We played dragons treasure but instead of bean bags we used footballs that we had to dribble back to base. There were plenty of other fun games too. Amanda is keen to get more girls involved in football and spoke to us about her work at Rotherfield Wildcats Girls football club.

Art

On Wednesday, Ali Cotton visited our class and we took part in an art workshop. As our topic this term is the rainforest, she gave us top tips on how to paint rainforest animals and plants. She also donated a large canvas which we are using to create a huge rainforest wallpaper for our class room. This is still work in progress, we'll update you on it next week.
