USA Day

Our topic is the USA. This week we have been preparing and making decorations for our USA day on Friday which included pom-poms and red, white and blue stars. For USA day we were in our own clothes and we celebrated by playing softball, we made dream catchers, had hotdogs and burgers for lunch and watched the movie Holes, which is the novel we have been reading in class. 

YEAR 6 and buddies

Year 6 had the opportunity to read to their foundation buddies this week. It was so much fun because, due to COVID, we haven't had any buddy time all year.

Art

Our topic in science is space so this week we created some oil pastel solar system pictures using different techniques to contrast and blend the colours of the planets.
