Springwood by Esme, Freya and Jazzy 9th July 2021

This week year 6 have been on a residential. They have been camping in Henley for three days. They have been swimming in The Thames and taking part in lots of activities such as kayaking, archery and jumping off rafts into the river.

While they've been on the residential, year 5 have been taught by Miss Tillotson. We have been learning about Japan because the Olympics will be hosted there this year. We've been making cherry blossom art and tasting Japanese food. We have also been researching about Japan and when we finished we practiced writing in Japanese. 

At the beginning of the week we took part in a photography competition where we had to take a photo which summed up what Peppard means to us. 

We have been doing PE every day and we joined up with Highmoor class and played rounders and scatterball with our new rules.
