STEM Maths Challenge - Year 4 team

Start: 18th Mar 2019 2:00pm

Duration: 1 hour

St. Mary’s STEM Challenge for More, Able and Talented Pupils (year 4)
Monday 18th March, 2pm – 3pm
St. Mary’s School

For the attention of Year 4 teacher,

I would like to extend an invitation to five of your ‘More, Able and Talented’ Pupils in year 4 from Peppard Primary School to join us once again for the STEM Challenge Event that St. Mary’s School is hosting on Monday 18th March,  2.00pm – 3.00pm.

This is our second year of hosting the STEM Challenge. We really enjoyed seeing children from a number of local primary schools working in such a focused way last year and hope that this can be replicated this year. As Math’s Teacher at St. Mary’s, I will be leading the event and have an interesting challenge for the children to complete.

The winners will claim the STEM Challenge trophy (which you obviously won last year!) and they will be able to keep this for a year and show off in pride of place at their school. All children will be issued with a certificate for taking part.

I think this will be another fun afternoon for the children and there will of course be support on hand if needed.  Please do let us know the names of the five children set to compete and any dietary requirements or allergies. If you could also confirm the name of the teacher who will be accompanying them we would appreciate it.

I look forward to hearing if your school will be able to take part. Please confirm your place by the end of February.
