Happy puzzle Y6 trip
On Monday Y6 went to Chiltern Edge to take part in a happy puzzle challenge. We took part in fun activities using our maths skills. For one of the puzzles we had a picture and some blocks. We had to replicate the picture using the blocks.
The library in the Dragon's Lair has had a makeover! We interviewed a few of the librarians to find out more. They let us know that they enjoyed being librarians because it is fun to sort out the books that are relevant to our Rainforest and courage topics of the term. They have also organised the books into fiction, non fiction, poetry and picture book sections. There is also a shelf dedicated to books recently read by other children for others to enjoy. There are also some wonderful book reviews on display written by members of Springwood.
Our class caterpillars have now turned into chrysalis. Meanwhile Darcy and Beau discovered an unusual looking caterpillar on the common which we rescued and is now living in our classroom. We believe it is nearly ready to turn into a chrysalis. We have named him Axel.
