This week, Springwood class read the book The Day The Crayons Quit. Afterwards we wrote letters back to the crayons using persuasive language to try and encourage them not to quit. It was really fun!

Our visitor this week

On Tuesday, a lady called Kathryn Fell (who is a professional photographer), came in to talk to us about photography. She also showed us how to take photos using a grid on the camera.

Maths

In maths we ha e started to learn about decimals. We are currently learning how to add, subtract, multiply and divide decimals with a whole number.

Computing

This week we started our stop motion animation unit. First we learnt about the basics which included making either flip books, zoetrope and thrumatrope. It was difficult be we really enjoyed it. Later on in the week we made play dough so we could make our own stop motion video using models.
