Art

This week in Springwood class we have been studying Islamic art and we made clay tiles which we will paint next week. In our sketch books from previous weeks we have been designing our tiles that include symettry using geometric shapes. We had to mold the clay which created a big mess for us to clear up! 

SATS

The year 6s have been doing their SATS which meant that the Y5s had to be extra quiet. The year 6s were really excited and they got to bring eat and eat cake in the Dragon's Lair after their tests. Evie evn brought in her own party hair to celebrate the end of SATS.

Maths

In maths we have been learning about decimals. We have been adding and subtracting decimals with different numbers of decimals points. We had word problems to solve at the end of each lesson and we were taught by Mrs Elson.
