Computing

This week in computing we finished our stop motion animation videos. Unfortunately some of the play dough we made went sticky so we couldn't use it.  Instead we used classroom resources such as stationary, maths counters, abacus and some groups did their illustrations to created the videos. They came out really well and we showcased them to the class. 

Maths

This week we have started our new topic about percentages. It followed our previous topics of decimals and fractions nicely. This week we have learnt the basics and next week we will be learning percentages of amounts and practicing word problems. 

English

When we arrived at school on Monday we were surprised to see that our chairs were not in the classroom. There was a letter on our tables explaining that they had quit! They no longer wanted to be our chairs anymore because we didn't treat them well enough and they complained that we tilt on them and put our muddy shoes on them. We had to write a persuasive letter to them to try and get them back. It worked! They came back later on in the day. Phew!
