Cricket Taster

On Tuesday we did a cricket taster session to see if we enjoyed it. Jack from Berkshire Cricket was our coach. Some of our class had never taken part in cricket before but we played two fun games to see if we enjoyed the sport. Jack and Mrs Elson even had a go at batting at the end of the session! 

Art

We have started a new topic about Islamic art. Islamic art involves a lot of symmetry, geometric shapes and calligraphy. We started to design our own piece by drawing lots of semetrical lines which sometimes confused our eyes. We have attached Annie,s design as an example. 

Tennnis

We started our annual tennis lessons at Peppard Tennis club this week. Andy coached us and we attempted rallies, practiced serving and tested our reaction times. It was quite cold so we are hoping it will warm up over the next few weeks.
