Science

We have started a new topic about forces. On Wednesday we were given links to research gravity, friction and air and water resistance. We made a topic page in our books or on our iPads. Next week we will continue the topic and will be conducting some experiments including parachutes and zip wires.

English

We have been reading the poem Jabberwocky by Lewis Carrol. Our task was to create a character description of the Jabberwocky and to include as much parenthesis to add extra information and to make the writing more interesting.

Music

We have been learning about the Holi festival in music (the festival of colour). We were put into groups and given a colour. We had to make a piece of music representing our groups colour. The instruments we used were drums, triangles, maracas and glockenspiels.
