Design and Technology
This week in our DT lesson we learned about building bridges. For the first bridge we used spaghetti and then we used wood. The wood was more successful but the spaghetti was fun to use.
World Book Day
This week was world book day on Thursday. We all came as different characters from our favourite books or in our own clothes as readers. It was really fun because we got into our teams for the whole morning and went to different classes to do different activities.
Ash Wednesday Church Service
It was Ash Wednesday this week and we all went down to the church. Each class contributed - Springwood acted out the Tortoise and the Hare.
Netball Competition
On Wednesday afternoon, some pupils from Springwood went to a netball competition at Gillotts. They had a brilliant even though it was pouring with rain. Everyone came back soaked but said it was worth it.
