Greys 7th December

This week has been assessment week and Greys class have also spent lots of time practising for the play, which we are looking forward to performing on Monday at 2:30pm and 6pm. It would be helpful if we could practise your lines over the weekend, remembering to speak loudly and clearly whilst facing our audience.

In Phonics the Year 1s have been revisiting some of the sounds that we have been learning this term and the Year 2s have been adding -ied, -ier and -est to words ends in y.

In Literacy we wrote our Christmas wishes for ourselves, our families and the world.

We finished wirting our letters to the Mayor about what we would like to improve in Henley. Ideas ranged from Kids' cafes, ice rinks to more litter bins for the town.

In RE we learned about the Advent wreath and what it symbolises.

Show and Tell next week is about Henley.
