In Springwood we have beeen looking at a book called The Fox and the Star by Coralie Bickford-Smith. Everybody has been writing their own version of the book. The book is a fable all about moving on and having courage.

Art

in art we have been drawing pictures of either our own made up places or a map of ourselves. When we have finished sketching we will be creating 3D maps using paper and then presenting them to the class.

Henley Literary Festival 

On Tuesday and Wednesday we were lucky enough to go to the Henley Literary Festival and meet some amazing authors. On Tuesday we met Phil Earl who has written 25 books for children and adults. On Wednesday we saw Sufiya Ahmed and she read some of her latest book to us called Rosie Raja Churchill's spy.
