Peppard class - 21st June 2019

Date: 21st Jun 2019 @ 11:27am

Welcome to our week in Peppard class.

We have had a lovely time doing woodwork this week. The children are very creative with their ideas and we have a few more resources to help them. Quote of the week was the proudest child saying “do I look like a grown up? I’m using a real saw!” The children demonstrate such high levels of involvement and commitment.

In phonics this week, we have been learning the ‘ie’ sound. We have been practising writing through a variety of tasks such as writing letters, stories and diaries.

In maths this week, we have been exploring money and looking at different coins. We have had a role play shop and a snack shop for the children to practise using coins and making amounts.

A massive thank you to Mrs Rancombe for a wonderful science morning.  Enjoy the pictures from the investigation to find the missing goldfish!

We would be grateful for clean recycling for next week please, especially plastic bottles.

We hope you enjoyed sports day.  The children were so confident.  Well done Peppard class.
