Peppard class - 14th October 2022

Welcome to our week in Peppard class.

We have enjoyed our topic work this week. We have learned about some people that help us, police, doctors and nurses. We had Graham, our local pcso, and Matti, who recently experienced the hospital. We also read about these jobs and watched Dr Ranj. We then enjoyed role playing these occupations and even had some plaster casts for the poorly toys. We introduced writing and new vocabulary through play based experiences. 

We also contined our work based on the story - The three little pigs. We would love to tell you the story next Friday morning at 9 am. 

In phonics we learned the new sounds

In maths we explored patterns.

We will be sending a reading book home next week on Tuesday and we will include a letter to explain how our system will work.
