Peppard class - 25.03.2022

Date: 25th Mar 2022 @ 3:21pm

Welcome to our week in Peppard class.

We have been  learning how to read and write longer words using phase 3 phonics sounds.  We have also played some games to support quick recall of our digraphs and trigraphs and tricky words.

In maths we have been consolidating our learning from this term including number bonds, composition of number, counting, and measurement.

We have enjoyed watching our beans grow and we have been keeping a diary as we notice the changes.  We have also been painting and drawing the Spring nature that we have observed.  We hope you like your mother's day cards.

We all took part in a woodwork activity.  We had little kits made for us (thank you Mr Byron) to make a car.  We used a variety of tools and skills.  The children were excellent carpenters.

Thank you Catherine, for coming to school and educating us all about keeping our teeth healthy.  We will continue learning about healthy teeth next week.

We would like to invite you to school at 8.55 (when the bell rings) next Friday morning for a 10 minute presentation of our growing topic.
