Welcome back after the Christmas holidays.

Firstly, thank you so much for our Christmas gifts!  We very much appreciate it.  

We have enjoyed being back at school with your children this week.  We have heard all about their Christmas holidays and how much fun you have all had.  On our first day back, the children wrote and drew pictures about their break.

In maths we have been learning about money.  We have looked at different coins and notes and we have been using 1p coins to pay for snacks.  We have been counting and matching using a card game and the children compeleted a worksheet by drawing the correct money for each given number.  

In phonics, we have been recapping our tricky words and playing lots of different phonics games to keep our recap fun and interactive.  We will begin Little Wandle next week.

Show and tell will be starting next week.  Please can your child bring only one item and some information about it.  Thank you.
