Peppard class

Welcome to our week in Peppard class.

In phonics this week, we have been revising phase 3 and we have begun phase 4.  We have also played some games.

We have begun our topic of minibeasts and enjoyed reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  The children have some class caterpillars and they have done some lovely artwork using minibeast stencils.

In maths we have begun learning numbers up to 20.  We have done practical activities and games exploring numbers, counting, addition, subtraction and number patterns.  The children are growing in confidence with subitising and number bonds.
