Attendance
Attendance at Peppard Primary School
At Peppard Primary School, we want every child to enjoy a happy, settled and successful journey through school. Good attendance plays a key part in this. When children are in school regularly, they feel secure in their routines, stay connected with their friends, and make steady progress in their learning.
We kindly ask families to support this by ensuring children attend every day wherever possible, and arrive on time so they can make a calm and positive start to each morning. Of course, we understand that illnesses and occasional unavoidable absences do happen. If your child is unwell, please let the school office know by 9:00am on the first day of absence.
While we can authorise some absences such as illness, medical appointments and specific exceptional circumstances we are not able to authorise holidays during term time. Keeping term-time requests to a minimum helps us maintain consistency and supports the children’s learning and wellbeing.
If you ever have concerns about attendance or need support with getting your child into school, please reach out. We are always here to help, and we work closely with families to ensure every child can thrive.
Together, as a community, we can give our children the very best start.
