School Closure Information

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we approach the time of year when adverse weather may occur, we would like to remind you of the process for checking if the school is closed.

If it becomes necessary to close the school, a message will be posted on the school website as early as possible, and no later than 8:00 am on the day of the closure. We will also update the County Council’s School Closure website, display a notice on the school gates, and notify local radio stations that list school closures.

Please assume that any closure will initially be for one day only. If conditions continue to be unsafe, you should check the websites each morning for updates.

If you have any questions about this process, please contact the school office before any potential bad weather.
