Reception Information for Parents starting in 2026-2027

Welcome to Peppard Church of England Primary School.

We are delighted to be welcoming you and your child to our school community. Starting school is a significant and exciting milestone, and we are committed to making this transition as smooth, positive and reassuring as possible for both children and their families.

Miss Lawrence and Mrs Wakefield are very much looking forward to meeting you all and welcoming you into your new class. We place great importance on helping children feel safe, secure and happy from the very beginning, so that they can settle quickly and begin to enjoy their learning.

Information will be sent to you through the school office regarding upcoming transition opportunities, including stay-and-play sessions, parent information meetings and Forest School experiences. These are carefully planned to support children in becoming familiar with the school environment, building confidence and forming strong relationships with staff and their peers as early as possible.
