Castle to Common

29.32 miles. 63,000 steps. 9 hours.

On Saturday 25th April, an incredible group of parents took on the challenge of walking from Windsor Castle to Peppard Common, along the Thames Path and up through the Chiltern Hills - and what a journey it was.

From freezing starts and swollen fingers, to blazing sunshine (and a very welcome Pimms & ice-cold water pit stop!), every step was taken with determination, humour, and true team spirit.

They were cheered home in the best way possible at Peppard Common by our amazing community, a moment we won’t forget. Incredibly together, they’ve raised over £11,000 for our school.

FoPs meet termly to discuss future fundraising ideas. It’s a great way to get involved in the school community, learn more about how funds are being used, share your ideas on future priorities, and connect with other parents and carers.

Financial Support

Each year, FoPS commits to raising a minimum of £17,000 to help provide the essential resources and enriching opportunities that make such a positive difference to daily school life. Through this funding, we are able to support over 15 educational subscriptions, provide tennis and gymnastics lessons, fund Forest School and enrichment music lessons, and subsidise every school trip by £10 per child.

To help us continue this valuable support, we are inviting families to consider making a voluntary monthly donation of £17.50. Regular contributions, no matter the size, make a huge difference and help ensure that every child continues to benefit from these opportunities throughout the school year.
