In Year Transfer

We warmly welcome enquiries from families who are considering moving their child to Peppard Church of England Primary School during the school year.

Moving schools can feel like a big step for both children and parents, and we aim to make the process as friendly, clear and supportive as possible. We are always happy to speak with families, answer questions and arrange a visit so that you can see our school, meet staff and get a feel for our caring school community.

In-year admissions are managed through Oxfordshire County Council. Parents should complete the online in-year transfer application form through the Oxfordshire admissions website. Oxfordshire County Council advises that in-year transfer applications are usually processed within 15 school days, although this may take longer in some circumstances.

Once a place has been confirmed, our school office will contact you with the information you need to help your child settle successfully. This may include details about uniform, lunches, class routines, start dates and any transition arrangements.
